No trace of missing chopper yet

ITANAGAR, Aug 9 - The frantic search by government agencies as well as civilians for the missing Pawan Hans helicopter carrying Tirap Deputy Commissioner Kamlesh Joshi and two pilots continued for the sixth consecutive day today with the IAF choppers scouring the thick jungles of Arunachal Pradesh to trace the location of the chopper but with no success.

�The ground search teams were dispatched to the �uncovered� areas and IAF choppers carried out aerial search but regrettably the day-long search ended without any success,� informed the district information & public relations officer Denhang Bosai, who has also been a part of the search team. �IAF did extensive aerial search operations. Grid by grid thorough aerial search is being done based on records of the radar trackings of the missing helicopter before it went out of the radar and ground reports based on public witnesses,� informed Civil Aviation Secretary Dr Brij Mohan Mishra. � Correspondent
