UDALGURI, Oct 8 - New Model Sports Club of Udalguri entered the next round of ongoing 22nd Upen Brahma Gold Cup played here at the Udalguri Stadium today defeating Alari Club of Khoirabari 4-3.
In the first half, New Model strikers Jwngswr Basumatary, Dhruvajyoti Boro and Subungsha Daimary netted one goal each in the 3rd, 14th and 34th minutes respectively.
Orga Boro of the New Model added one more in 50th minutes. The Alari boys tried hard to influence in the match by reducing the margin in the 52nd, 64th and 6th minutes respectively through Mokthang Boro, Jogen Rabha and Akshay Boro.
