SHILLONG, Feb 24 - Justice Dinesh Maheshwari was sworn-in as Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court by Governor V Shanmuganathan at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, Cabinet Ministers and officials were present at the function. The new Chief Justice is a senior judge from Allahabad High Court and succeeded former Chief Justice Uma Nath Singh of Meghalaya High Court who retired on January 14.
