GUWAHATI, June 26 - To promote the game of chess amongst the students, the Rajbari Athletic Club, Manipuri Basti here will start a chess academy, named RAC Chess Academy, in its premises from August 6.
Besides imparting training to the students, the academy will also provide evening practice facilities to the senior players. Interested students may collect the admission form from the Club office after 5pm.The faculty will be headed by Th Bipin Singha as chief coach, stated a release.
