GUWAHATI, April 15 - The new executive body of the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service Association (AAHVSA) assumed charge recently in a meeting held in the information hall, AH and Vety Dept, Chenikuthi here, stated a press release.
The newly-elected president Dr Debananda Adhikari and general secretary Dr Pranjit Baruah welcomed the gathering and appealed for whole-hearted cooperation from all members of the Association. The AAHVSA felicitated the new director, Dr AA Saikia, and thanked the government for giving the charge of the director in AAHVSA as per the Assam Veterinary Council Act and Assam Animal Husbandry Service Rules.
