GUWAHATI, June 28 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday advocated for saturation model and focused interventions to achieve a complete turnaround in the implementation of the Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana (CMSGUY).
Chairing a meeting to assess the level of implementation of various schemes of the CMSGUY, Sonowal asked RT Jindal, the CEO of the Mega Mission Society of CMSGUY, to take steps to transform rural areas into powerhouses through the scheme.
He stated that villages should be integrated fully and there should be awareness campaigns in every revenue village so that the villagers are able to reap the benefits of the CMSGUY. In this regard, Sonowal advocated for involving gaon panchayats and their representatives in the project.
