NCERT Director calls on Arunachal Guv

ITANAGAR, Oct 25 - Prof Hrushikesh Senapaty, Director, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Bhavan here today. They discussed about ways to ensure timely availability of NCERT books in the State, a press release said.

The Governor, who has been advising the State Government in making the textbooks available in the schools, said that education is the most important aspect in the development process of the society. This year, due to concerted effort of all and prompt action from the State Government, books were provided to the students, he said. The Governor also emphasised on vocational education and activating the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Arunachal Pradesh.
