GUWAHATI, Sept 25 - The 11 Sports National Ranking Table Tennis Championship got underway at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium in the RG Baruah Sports Complex here today.
On the opening day qualifying round competitions in the men, women, youth boys and youth girls categories were held. Assam players in all the categories had a disappointing show as all the local players were beaten by their respective opponents.
