NAGAON, Aug 15 - Protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, hundreds of members of the Nagaon district unit of AASU, formed a human chain in front of AASU�s district office today.
The protesters criticized the BJP-led Union Government as well as Sarbananda Sonowal-led State government for bringing in the draconian Act and demanded to scrap it at any cost since the student body would never accept it.
The protesters rented the air with various anti-CAA slogans.
