KOHIMA, July 28 - Nagaland Assembly today adopted a five-point resolution on the Naga political issue.
The House yesterday unanimously reiterated the earlier resolutions of the Assembly dated December 12, 1964, August 28, 1970, September 16, 1994 and December 18, 2003, demanding integration of all contiguous Naga-inhabited areas under one administrative umbrella.
The House also urged the Centre and the NSCN(K) to resume the ceasefire agreement. They also appealed to the Centre to withdraw the declaration of the whole State of Nagaland as disturbed area under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act 1958.
