GUWAHATI, July 25 - Host Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC rallied to beat FC Green Valley 2-1 to clinch the title in the Assam State Premier League (ASPL).
In the packed stadium at Diphu this evening, George Prince took Green Valley ahead in the 53rd minute after a barren first session.
But after the goal, the home team made a tremendous fightback and Lachit Bora drew parity in the 66th minute. Finally, leading scorer Orok Orok Essien, fired the match-winning goal in the 82nd minute to seal the fate of the match.
