Mobile cinema hall

NORTH GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - In order to entertain people living in mofussil areas away from the din and bustle of city-life to witness cinema, particularly regional ones, as mobile cinema hall under the banner of �Promoter of Industries and Entrepreneurship� was launched recently, the first shows of which were exhibited at the North Guwahati Madhyam Khanda field, adjacent to the community Puja field.

Earlier, the show was formally inaugurated by Sachin Bhuyan, the president of Doul Govinda Temple Management Committee. The managing director of the project POIE, Pankaj Mazumdar, explained how and why he was motivated to establish such a rolling cinema hall for the benefit of the rural population of the State. The project named �Joymati Kareng Moving Cinema Hall� was graced by Ashok Kumar Bishaya, producer of the recently released film Khel. In his speech, Bishaya while narrating the present problems of the regional films expected that the project if adored by people would encourage producers to produce more films.
