AIZAWL, March 29 - Mizoram�s Social Welfare department would be split into two, with the new unit to be named as Women and Child Development department, the State Assembly was told on Monday.
To a query from Lalruatkima of Mizo National Front (MNF), Urban Development Minister Zodintluanga, who replied in the absence of Social Welfare Minister P Lalthanliana, said that the Social Welfare department would also be renamed as Social Welfare and Tribal Affairs department. � PTI
