Mishra suggests measures for improving higher education

ITANAGAR, June 6 - Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (retd) has suggested improvement of the quality of higher education in the State. He also stressed the need to revise the syllabi at regular intervals.

The Governor made these suggestions while speaking at the inaugural session of the two-day 49th Conference of Governors and Lt Governors at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday.

Earlier, the inaugural session was addressed by President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Governors and Lt Governors spoke on the steps taken on the report, �Rajyapal � Vikas Ke Rajdoot: Catalytic Role of Governors as Agents for Change in Society�.
