TURA, April 24 - Tragedy struck a family from Rongsak in East Garo Hills district after a 12-year-old boy accidentally drowned in the Simsang river near Rongsak this afternoon.
According to the police, the minor had gone out with friends to take a dip in the river and drowned. The young boy has been identified as Akash Rajbangshi of Rongsak.
The police visited the victim�s house and conducted an inquest and other legal formalities.
