GUWAHATI, Aug 1 - State Minister of Cultural Affairs Naba Doley today appeared before the court here today in connection with a complaint case (224/2014). The complaint was forwarded by the Court of Civil Judge number 1 against Doley to the CJM in Guwahati for holding an inquiry to ascertain whether the injunction notice sent by the said court under its seal pertains to any wrongdoing by Doley.
Advocate Bijon Mahajan, who appeared on behalf of Doley, contended that the complaint was illegal and without sanction of the law and the said injunction notice did not bear the seal, and Doley�s signature too was conspicuous by its absence therein. The court has fixed August 6 for the date of final orders.
