Meghalaya records 4 more COVID-19 deaths

SHILLONG, Sept 11 - Meghalaya has witnessed another huge spike in positive cases and reported four deaths during the past 24 hours.

As many as 151 new COVID-19 cases were reported from across the State during this period. The active cases have surged to 1,534.

Among the deaths were three men and one woman. The youngest among the dead was 21 years old and the oldest was a 46-year-old male patient. The female patient was 45 years old.

In the past 24 hours, 47 patients have also recovered, taking the total discharged cases in the State to 1,889.
