SHILLONG, July 20 Meghalaya now holds the proud distinction of having two, out of the six international judges in India, recognized by the World Archery Association.
Paia B War Nongbri recently qualified as an International judge. He is the brother of Matsiewdor War, who is the other international judge from Meghalaya. In fact, War was the sole representative from India to judge the archery events at the 2012 London Olympics.
At a felicitation function held by the Meghalaya Archery Association (MAA), Nongbri said, it was sheer dedication and love for the sports that has made it possible for him to qualify as an International judge.
