HALFLONG, Sept 25 - Aiming at the elections to the NC Hills Autonomous Council expected to be held in November this year, the Maibang Block Congress Committee organised a mega public meeting at Durgabari near the Congress office in Maibang on Monday. The meeting started with a rally which travelled through the major parts of Maibang.
All the Congress leaders from Haflong attended the meeting and appealed to the public to extend their wholehearted support to the Congress party for a better future of the district.
