GUWAHATI, Aug 30 - To mark the completion of 25 years of the youth wing of Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation, a sister organization of Brahmakumaris, a youth integrity run was flagged off on Monday at the Ganesh Mandir Indoor Stadium, Khanapara, by Dr Rabindra Nath Goswami, Dean, College of Veterinary Science, AAU, Khanapara.

The run covered areas like Khanapara, Science Museum, Beltola, Six Mile, Sankardeva Kalakshetra and culminated at the Govt LP School, Six Mile.

A meeting followed where Dr Dinesh Baishya, Principal, B Borooah College, was the guest of honour. In his speech, Dr Baishya spoke on development and peace, and urged the youth not to look to the West to find solutions of their problems. Rather, he said, the neighbouring Bhutan was an example worth emulating, as the country had developed a happiness index and was practicing an ideal blend of peace and development.

"This is more desirable than the lifeless economic growth rate as an index of development preached by the West and followed by the world," he added.

Brahmakumari Rajyogini Sheela presided over the meeting.

A sapling of Arjun tree was planted by the guests inside the school campus.
