IMPHAL, May 12 � The results of the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur was declared this evening.
A total of 15,120 students out of the total 24,742 students who appeared in the examination, passed. The pass percentage this year is 61.11 against last year�s 76.89.
As in the past, students of private higher secondary schools and colleges fared better than the government-run institutions. The pass percentage of private schools and colleges is 68.34 per cent against 45.78 per cent of the government schools and colleges, according to official sources.
