IMPHAL, Sept 2 - Manipur Government has decided to prepare a ranking of all the banks operating in the State on the basis of the services provided by them to the people, according to Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
�A circular would be issued to ask the banks to submit the details of the services provided by them to the public soon,� Singh said.
The amount of money to be deposited from the State�s exchequer to these banks would be decided on the basis of ranking, he said while attending a function of Manipur State Co-operative Bank Ltd (MSCB) recently. The Chief Minister said the State Government has initiated a number of steps to encourage entrepreneurship and self employment. � PTI
