Manipur Govt to build 25 schools under mission

IMPHAL, July 31 - Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today announced that under the School Development Mission, a total of 25 schools would be constructed at a cost of Rs 33.52 crore in the first phase.

He was speaking at the passing-out parade of the 5th Batch of the MR/IRB/CP Followers (Male) held at the Manipur Police Training College, Pangei, near here.

He also said that the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of these schools would be held on August 7. A total of 60 schools will be constructed � one in each Assembly constituency.
