IMPHAL, July 20 - Additional Director General (ADG) of Manipur Police Department who sustained critical injuries after he allegedly shot at himself on Saturday, has been flown to New Delhi in an air ambulance on Sunday, sources informed.
The injured ADGP (Law and Order) Arvind Kumar, who is undergoing treatment in Raj Medicity, a private hospital in Imphal, was flown in an air ambulance for further treatment at AIIMS,New Delhi around 4.30 pm, the source added.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday tweeted,�During my visit, I have interacted with Arvind Kumar, IPS, ADGP (L&O), Manipur Police, who was injured in an unfortunate incident yesterday. Currently, his condition is stable and out of danger. May good health envelop him; I wish him a speedy recovery.�
