Mamoni shifted to cabin

NEW DELHI, April 7 � Dr Mamoni Raisom Goswami has been shifted from ICU to private cabin, though she continues to be in coma.�

Doctors treating her at Medanta Medi-city told newsmen that the noted author was shifted to her cabin on Thursday following her recovery. She was stated to be responding to treatment and her vital organs, barring the brain, are functioning normally.

The Jnanpith winner�s brain function continues to be a cause for concern and doctors were not sure of how long it might take. She was admitted to the hospital in critical condition after being airlifted from Guwahati in February.
