GUWAHATI, March 14 - With a convincing 43-run victory against Titan Club, Maharana Athletic Club clinched the Guwahati Sports Association�s (GSA) B Division Cricket League title for the Rashmi Bala Tamuly Trophy.
Put into bat, Maharana boys amassed a mammoth 222 for nine in their stipulated 30 overs at the Latasil playground here today. Chasing the tough target, Titan batsmen could manage to score 179 before being bundled out in 28.5 overs.
For Maharana, Sandesh Kumar top scored with an unbeaten 74 off just 30 balls which included five sixes and seven boundaries.
