MAPUSA, May 28 (PTI): Shillong Lajong failed to avoid� relegation as they�went down 1-3 to Salgaocar in the 26th round I-League match at the Duler ground here today.
Shillong Lajong, who needed an outright win to avoid relegation, were down by a goal in the first period as Salgaocar scored through Milagres Gonsalves in the 32nd minute.
Salgaocar, who held more of the exchanges in both the half, then increased the lead through�Ekene Ikenwa in the 82nd minute.
