GUWAHATI, April 29 � Eminent writer, researcher and former Parliamentarian, Dr Nagen Saika will be conferred the Krishna Kanta Handique award by Asam Sahitya Sabha. In a press release the Sabha�s chief secretary Paramananda Rajbongshi stated that the award will be presented in July at Guwahati where a formal function will take place. It may be mentioned that last time the honour was bestowed on distinguished litterateur Dr Indira Goswami.
