KOHIMA, March 26 � Khekiho Zhimomi of ruling Naga People�s Front (NPF) was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha from Nagaland today, reports PTI.
All the forty legislators of the ruling DAN coalition voted in favour of Khekiho, while 19 Congress MLAs cast votes for their candidate, Imdangla Aier, Assembly Secretariat officials said.
Nungshizenba of Congress could not cast his vote as he was in hospital. Former Industry Minister Khekiho�s present term expires on April 2.
