SIVASAGAR, July 24 - Debashis Khargharia, an ONGC employee and son of noted theatre personalities Rajani Khargharia and Rubi Khargharia who committed suicide in a rented house in Sivasagar on July 1, arrested in Guwahati on July 19 last was sent to jail yesterday after three days of police custody.
Sivasagar Police had been on the look out for Deabshis and his wife Gitashree on the basis of an FIR submitted in Sivasagar PS by the youngest daughter of the artist couple Monika Gogoi alleging that both son Debashis and the daughter-in-law Gitashree were responsible for their parents' suicide. TET teacher Gitashree is still eluding arrest while the eldest daughter of the Khargharia couple Mridusmita Khargharia took an entirely opposite stand on her parents� suicide and alleged that her Debashis and Gitashree are nor responsible for their parents� suicide.
