Khandu lays foundation of RK Mission School

ITANAGAR, Oct 9 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today laid the foundation stone of the third Ramakrishna Mission School of the State at Lumdung in East Kameng district in the presence of Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju, State Home Minister Kumar Waii, assistant general secretary of RK Mission Swami Bodhasarananda and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Khandu announced establishment of the State�s second agriculture college in East Kameng district. He said the two institutes would not only benefit East Kameng district but all the neighbouring districts.

Responding to a memorandum from the RK Mission for development of the school, the Chief Minister assured full support of the State Government, stating that the RK Mission has tremendously contributed to the development of human resource in the State.

Rijiju, in his speech, said that besides the standards of education, the way of life in the whole area would also improve with the establishment of the premier school.

Home Minister Kumar Waii, Dirang MLA Phurpa Tsering and the chairman of the RK Mission, Lumdung, Hari Natung also spoke on the occasion.
