Khandu calls for strengthening IT network

ITANAGAR, June 20 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has requested the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to strengthen the IT network in the State, while assuring all possible support from the end of the Government for smooth implementation of various Digital India and flagship programmes of the State.

The Chief Minister made this plea when the State Informatics Officer of the NIC, State Centre, Saibal Sarkar, called on him along with other officers here today.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the activities of the NIC in the State. He appreciated the NIC for its active support in the implementation of ICT projects and services, including the recent upgrade of the VSAT systems in the districts with new technology.
