MANGALDAI, Sept 19 - Much to the delight of the football buffs of the undivided Darrang district, Kabirali Football Club, Udalguri moved into the final of the Amba Medhi Football Tournament for the first time in the 38-year history of the championship.
In the first semifinal played at the Mangaldai Stadium here today, Kabirali edged past Dhoopdhara Football Club by a solitary goal. The all important goal was netted by Shukram Hemrom in the 8th minute.
