Juvenile home inaugurated in Shillong

SHILLONG, Dec 12 - Meghalaya High Court Chief Justice, Uma Nath Singh, today inaugurated a Juvenile Home at Mawdiangdiang, at the outskirts of the State Capital here.

The Social Welfare department was allotted the Home built on a three acre plot. The land was provided by Meghalaya Urban Development Authority (MUDA).

The Home built at a cost of Rs 11 crore was constructed in line with the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection) Act, 2000.
