IRCTC signs MoU with Manipur Govt

NEW DELHI, Aug 12 - Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and Manipur Government have joined hands to provide improved hospitality and tourism services to their customers by making joint use of their capabilities and facilities.

IRCTC, a Railways PSU, signed a MoU with Manipur to leverage their combined strength for development of tourism products and opening and managing catering outlets, budget hotels, handicraft shops at railway as well as other locations.

The MoU entails upon both the parties to identify areas of cooperation and draw up detailed plans, said a senior IRCTC official.

The MoU was signed by IRCTC Chairman and Managing Director AK Manocha and Manipur Tourism Secretary Nidhi Mani Tripathi last week. � PTI
