IPSC basketball begins

GUWAHATI, Oct 11 - The Indian Public Schools� Conference (IPSC) Inter School U-17 Boys Basketball Tournament hosted and organised by Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), Borjhar got underway at the school�s Grand Stand today.

A total of 13 IPSC schools from across the country are participating in the tournament.

Col Rajesh Mishra, Commanding Officer, 3 Air Formation Signal Regiment (AFSR), Borjhar was the chief guest in the opening ceremony where founder and principal of MBRS Dr NK Dutta and Miles Bronson Education Society secretary Nandini Dutta were also present.

Today�s results: Pinegrove School, Himachal Pradesh bt Sainik School, Goalpara (52-51); LK Singhania Education Centre, Rajasthan bt BK Birla Centre for Education, Pune (71-04); Sainik School, Kunjpura bt The Lawrence School, Himachal Pradesh (59-28); Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Sonipat bt Emerald Heights International School, Indore (62-30); Mayo College, Ajmer bt Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar (65-42).
