GUWAHATI, March 19 - Betkuchi High School of Guwahati and Peace Cottage School of Dibrugarh won the respective boys and girls title of the U-17 inter-district school hockey tournament.
In the boys final, Betkuchi High School got the better of Kaoimari High School 3-0 while in the girls final, Peace Cottage School thrashed Guwahati Bodo ME School 13-0.
With this win, both the teams qualified for the Jawarhalal Nehru Cup Hockey National Tournament to be held at New Delhi.
