GUWAHATI, Sept 25 � The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) has flayed the State government for �failing to address the burning problem of flood and erosion�.
Terming the Tarun Gogoi government as worthless, the AASU alleged that the government has failed to relate to the problems faced by the people of Assam.
�The government machinery has completely failed to provide relief to the affected, while the Chief Minister, by staying in Japan, is trying to evade the situation,� the AASU said.
Meanwhile, the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samity has threatened to launch a rigorous stir in protest against the State�s failure to provide relief to the flood affected people.
