GUWAHATI, Sept 20 � Decrying the National Hydro Electric Power Corporation�s decision to go ahead with the Lower Subansiri hydro-power project the AASU today said that the developments exposed the State Government's surrender to the big dam lobby despite widespread public protests and recommendations of experts against construction of any dam at that site.
In a statement, the AASU said that it would continue with its protests as big dams were never in the interest of the State.
