GUWAHATI, Jan 13 - Governor PB Acharya has expressed his condolences at the death of Vinod Phangso, OC of Barpathar Police Station, who was shot dead by miscreants while on duty at Chungajan under the Dhansiri subdivision of Golaghat district on January 10.
While terming the incident as a very tragic one, the Governor described late Phangso as �a very courageous officer who was an efficient officer of the highest level.� Acharya conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
