TURA, Oct 18 � A class IX student of Shyamnagar Higher Secondary School, Phulbari, was drowned in the Rongai river where she had gone fishing around noon yesterday. Rongai is a tributary of Brahmaputra.
The girl has been identified as Wilme Ch Momin (19). She along with two minors, slipped into the river. While the people were able to save the two minors, Wilme was beyond reach and drowned in the water.
