AIZAWL, March 8 - The Mizoram Excise and Narcotics Department officials today seized 5.98 kilos of ganja (cannabis) at Rangvamual near Aizawl, an Excise Department spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that a woman, Bisno Rong (38) of Naisingpara Bru Relief Camp in North Tripra district was arrested for alleged possession of the contraband worth about Rs 9,000.
The accused was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. � PTI
