GUWAHATI, Dec 5 - The Panbazar police today arrested four persons including three women from Lakhtokia area after drugs were seized from their possession.
They were identified as Monirom Nessa alias Boro Gedi, Jahura Khatoon, Sahera Khatoon and Suraj Guwala.
A police source said that a drive against drugs peddling was carried out today by a team of Panbazar police at 11:30 am at Railway Gate Number 2 and 3 at Lakhtokia. The team recovered 23 grams of drugs suspected to be brown sugar, 940 empty plastic containers, banned liquids, 10 mobile handsets and cash Rs 5,000.
