GUWAHATI, Feb 16 � Over 400 people, including children and women, fell sick in Sonapur area apparently due to food poisoning following consumption of khichadi offered in the Durung High School on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on Friday.
The district administration has opened a make-shift health centre at the Durung LP School where people are being treated.
Many of them have also rushed to GMCH and hospitals located in Khetri and Sonapur areas.
