SILCHAR, June 27 - Former District and Session Judge of Silchar, Samarendra Kumar Dey passed away recently at a hospital in Noida. He was 84. He leaves behind his wife, a son and a daughter.�His death was widely mourned in Silchar.�He was closely associated with various socio-cultural organisations in Barak Valley.
