GUWAHATI, Sept 8 - The Higher Education department has constituted a committee to conduct an enquiry into the alleged allegations against the governing body of JB Law College here.
The members of the enquiry committee are Prof MK Chaudhuri, adviser, Education department, as chairman, Maninder Singh, additional chief secretary, Education department, as member and Gitimoni Phukan, director of Higher Education, as member secretary.
The committee will examine the gross irregularities, mismanagement and functioning of the present governing body of JB Law College as alleged by the JB Law College Students' Union and a member of the governing body of the college.
