Durga Puja fever grips Biswanath

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Sept 29 - Along with the rest of the State, Durga Puja fever has gripped the people of Biswanath district comprising Biswanath and Gohpur subdivisions also.

Around 200 puja mandaps have been decorated with various designs and lights by the enthusiastic devotees. Durga Puja is being held at several places and tea gardens in the district including Gohpur, Halem, Borgang, Bedeti, Ginjia, Chatiya, Nagshanker, Kalyani (Gambhar) Mandir etc.

Meanwhile, the Biswanath district administration has made all preparations to maintain law and order in the district. Security has been tightened and additional police forces deployed at sensitive areas.
