DIBRUGARH, Feb 15 - Dr Shristidhar Dutta, former Dean of Social Sciences of Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Itanagar and a resident of Boiragimoth here has been selected for a special felicitation by the Shri Shri Anirudhadeva Chair of the History Department of Dibrugarh University (DU) for his contribution towards Vaishnavism religious thought and for his various social interventions for the uplift of the socio-economically backward communities.
Shri Shri Anirudhadeva Chair of the History Department of Dibrugarh University will accord the honours to Dr Dutta on April 30 next. Dr Dambarudhar Nath, Professor, Shri Shri Anirudhadeva Chair of the History Department of Dibrugarh University, mentioned in a letter that Dr Dutta's contributions needed recognition to motivate and inspire others.
