AIZAWL, May 30 � Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department�s Anti-Narcotics Squad today seized more than 2.53 lakh tablets of Pseudo-ephedrine and arrested two persons here in this connection.
The seized drugs were brought from neighbouring Assam�s Silchar to be smuggled to Myanmar where it was intended to be used as precursor for clandestine manufacture of Methamphetamine.
�The seized drugs weighing 23.4 kg was to be sold at Rs 45.67 lakh in the Myanmar border,� he said. � PTI
