GUWAHATI, Sept 3 - Bharalumukh police today apprehended one Pranjit Das, 25, from Machkhowa area, over his alleged involvement in drug peddling. The officer in charge of Bharalumukh PS informed that some syringes, two ampoules of suspected brown sugar along with some empty ampoules and Rs 5,000 in cash were seized from him.
A case has been registered under section 22A and 27 of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
